Short answer: no. Our brains and bodies are brilliant at caring for us. Whatever brings you here, once was meant to take really good care of you. Now that you have grown and had new experiences, maybe you don’t need that tool anymore- but your brain and body need some updating.
My opinion: you are unshakeably good. Brilliant.
Let’s get to know your nervous system and see what it needs.

Ugh. No. I don’t want to waste your time. Together we will figure out what would be most useful to you and go from there.
-
Probably. But not for long. Doing something new usually feels a bit weird at first. But you can’t mess this up. There is no getting this wrong. We will get to know each other and hopefully this becomes a bright spot in your week where you can let down and just be you.
-
No. I have no script or grand plan. I am not here to make you be anything other than you are. My goal is to make space where you can lay out all of your questions, worries, fears, hopes, and wishes in front of you and tend them together.

This space is yours, and your privacy will be respected. The exception is for your safety— If there is concern for harm to yourself or another, then we need to tell someone.

That is different for each person. Most often we start with a weekly appointment.
You are good at a lot of things.
Sometimes it’s hard to keep it all going.
Small things can suddenly feel really big.
You think about things over and over and can’t seem to stop.
You hold it together all day and then fall apart when you get home.
You get frustrated with yourself because you know what you’re supposed to do, but sometimes you just…can’t.
You wish the adults in your life could understand you better.
